I don't know whether it is the Rednecks, the over the top stereotypical College teens or the Zombie Beavers,
but we liked it. Basically it is a less edgy Black Sheep on a lower budget with Beavers.
Its clearly not taking itself too seriously and it packs quite a few laughs, a lot from the shear number of beaver jokes.
Particular favorite scenes are when they gnaw a tree over to crush a dude, cut the phone lines and wait outside the house for the horny teens. "We can't turn against each other, that's exactly what the beavers want!"
To be honest we were expecting awful CGI and so were pleasantly surprised when they were all puppets, yup, puppets.
Summarize!
When you pick up a film called Zombeavers you know its not going to be art, but it is really stupid, gruesome and funny.
Oh, the song they play during the credits is well worth hanging about for too!
Gotta say I watched this on a whim a few months back.... no ragrets.....
